Anyone want to check out some of my lyrics? I don't have the cash to get into a studio to record an album at the moment, plus I need to find a violinist to play the stuff that I wrote out for the instrument. If anyone's interested I'll post them up now that I have them all copyrighted. [IMG]

Create the music you want with Fruity Loops...make a song using Cool Edit...

I used to rap before and did it for 3 or so years. Two people in my group are established producers/artists, although the group doesn't exist anymore.

www.soundclick.com/insidiousproductions is my friend's site in which he sells his beats and it's one of soundclick's more popular hiphop band pages. You guys should check his stuff out, beyond dope.

Anyway, I'd be interested in reading your lyrics, post them.

Thanks for the suggestion here, bro. I've heard a lot about this program and I'll check it out to see what I can do with it for the time being. I've only barelly seen how it works. But I would really like to get into a proper studio for about 4 or 5 grand because I need drum work done and in this place or where I would be in France I can't possibly have those play. The neighbors would have a screaming fit. Anyway, my next post will have some of the lyrics. I won't post them all at once because I already have an album written out.

Hilltop Orchestra is a somewhat orchestrated track that's mostly instrumental. It doesn't have any real message as I actually did write it during a storm. [IMG] I like the idea though.

    “Hilltop Orchestra”

    Sitting alone in silence
    Contemplate the day
    Music plays inside my head
    The storm has come today

    Rain dances as it crashes
    Falling to the Earth
Like the music inside my head
    Seems to carry on within

Pick up the winds as I pick up the tempo
The music is fast breaking the back of my ears
Silence has been torn with a crack in the air
    Shocking developments shatter a sway

Inside the house are echoes and heartbeats
Clinging to the walls reflecting the music
Sky black and blue not clear looming like a beating
Whistles and bells keep the beat on flowing

    After...

    Light, just split the clouds
Over the hills near the den
    No more music to comfort
I feel my orchestra has fled

EDIT* Decided to keep only the one song up since nobody really cares for the thread. A mod can delete this thread if they like.
