Every day I will be writing reports on my favorite teams, Dallas Cowboys, LA Lakers, and NY Yankees. Here is my 1st report for the NY Yankees.Friday, July 21stLeave him alone! I can't believe my fellow Yankee fans are going to treat one of the top players in the league like trash! This is a man who was questioned why he was hanging out with his family before a game! Give me a break! That is the most innocent thing you can do is to be a great husband and father. It's sick how a great person like this get's this treatment when there are people out there raping women and children. Do you want to know why he is making so many errors, because you don't have any confidence in him and he get's nervous. All he needs is encouragement, otherwise his confidence goes down, and his talent goes down with it. If you go to a Yankees game, and someone boos A-Rod again, throw popcorn at them!Saturday, July 22ndThey are slowly crawling back in to the lead. They were a half game out just a week ago, but with Seattle beating Boston, and the Yankees pulling it out against Toronto, they knock Toronto back a game from second, and now the Yankees are 2.5 back with plenty of games left with Boston. It also doesn't hurt that the White Sox lost today, and they gain ground in the wild card race. But the biggest thing that stood out today, was A-Rod. He was the DH. Now it's getting interesting to see if manager Joe Torre has lost confidence in him, this will be interesting for sure. A-Rod was 0-4, striking out 4 times. The first time he struck out 4 times since July 22nd, 1995, 11 years ago today against the Chicago White Sox. Sunday, July 23rdAt least Boston lost. But that's getting old. Do these players think that just because Boston lost, they can't fall down any today, so we will slack a little today with no pressure on us. Come on, you go to take advantage of a Red Sox lost, and until we do, I don't see us making the post season, we really need to get our acts together. Yes I know, Sheffield, and Matsui are hurt, but those are excuses. There is know reason why are youngsters and role players can't step up, after all, if they were good enough to be signed by George Steinbrenner, they must be special. Monday, July 24thIn a showdown with his former team, Alex Rodriguez got back in to form. He had 2 hits, including a go-ahead run, and had no errors. Derek Jeter had a RBI triple in the top of the 3rd that tied the game at 1, scoring Melky Cabrera, after Cabrera had a triple of his own. Miguel Cairo had a 2 RBI double scoring Alex Rodriguez and Bernie Williams in the top of the 4th. In the top of the 5th Alex Rodriguez had a RBI fielders choice scoring Melky Cabrera and advancing Jason Giambi to 2nd. In the bottom of the 5th Mark Texeira had a RBI single, scoring Gary Matthews Jr., and advancing Kinsler to 3rd. Mark Texeira was called out trying to go to 2nd. In the top of the 6th Aaron Guiel homered to make it 5-2. In the top of the 7th Alex Rodriguez doubled to score Derek Jeter and take a 6-2 lead. Randy Johnson pitched 6 innings, had 7 hits against him, and stuck out 7. The Yankees improved to 57-40.

Saturday, July 29thEmbarrasing. That's the only word to describe it. Letting the last place Tampa Bay Devils Rays come in to Yankee Stadium, and run you out of your own house is unexcusable. But in the top of the 2nd, Dioner Navarro had an RBI single, scoring Jonny Gomes. Later that inning Tomas Perez had an RBI double, scoring Damon Hollins and Dioner Navarro. Jorge Cantu had a bases loaded walk, bring in Carl Crawford. Still in the top of the 4th, Damon Hollins had an RBI single, scoring Rocco Baldelli and Travis Perez, also advancing Jorge Cantu to 2nd. In the top of the 5th, Carl Crawford hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Travis Perez. In the top of the 6th, Jorge Cantu hit a solo home run, making it 12-4. Randy Johnson gets the loss, and is now 11-9. He pitched 3.1 innings, allowing 6 hits, 9 runs, and 0 strike outs. The Yankees are now 60-41, and 1 in a half games out of the AL East.

Monday, July 31stThe Red Sox now have a 1 game lead after David Ortiz hit a walk off home run for Boston. But the Yankees made some more noise on this day off, trading pitcher Shawne Chacon to Pittsburgh for Craig Wilson. Wilson played 43 games at 1st base, and 30 in right field for the Pirates this season.

Saturday, October 8thThis was a sad day for Yankees fans. But now we face the questions. Will Radny Johnson retire? I definately think so. Will A-Rod be traded? NO! You can't trade him, stop making a story out of it, and take the pressure of him. A-Rod is here to stay for at least 5 more years. Is Sheffield going? After the way he played today, he sure didn't help his chances to return. Will the Yankees make a move this off-season? Well, you know they are, but will it finally be for a pitcher such as a Dontrelle Willis? If you want to win the World Series in 2007, you better. And finally, is Derek Jeter the MVP. Yes.

Man fu*k that. get arod outta here. batting.073Sheff wont be back, But its not his fault. It was joe torre's. The man been hurt all season and then he wants to put sheff at 1st.. it was during the season, But for the playoffs you want your best team out there. why did he have 2 put sheff at 1st... He should of used jason or phillupsYeah phillups. With all the bats we have we need better people out there .Leave matsui at DH and leave the milk man at LF.Torre never should of let wright pitch. He knew he was gonna get nothing out of him. Should of put lide or that new kid carson cause he is better then wright. IDK if he was on the postseason roster... I dont think he was ... But Wright is gonesheff is goneArod if he lets us trade him is gonetorre is gone " I thnk just cause of the moves he made this postseasonrandy needs to retire maybeI Want the moose to stay.
