just for the record. Sheldon and Lito will have good years, the Pass Defense will not be a achillies heal Eagles will win at least 12 games Kearse-top 3 in sacks TO-more rec, than Phillies wins. 12 TDS Simon,McNabb, KEarse TO Dawkins and Reese all pro bowlers. LJ ranks top 7 in all TE categories. maybe even top 5. Eagles score over 400 points for the second time in their history. my dark horses are )Jaguars-I love this offense, jimmy smith, reggie williams(my fav. wr out of the draft), fred taylor and Leftwich i think can form a offense like carolinas defense last year, and it will be enough to carry the team to a 10 win season. i think hugh douglas will have a bounce back season and contribute 7-10 sacks also. negatives is tthat they play with the colts and titans(i think this team is done) 2)Steelers-i dont see why not, they have a young QB who was arguabably the best in the draft, and he has weapons to use. if Plaxico gets straightened out, and stays i can see that being a threat in a up for grabs division. 3)Buffalo-they have the defense, they need the offense which is already there, just not producing. i think that who ever the quarter back is, bledsoe or losman that the season will make or brake on them. i mean moulds, mcgahee/henry and evans is a good offense, it just needs a QB to run it. troy vincent i think isnt the player he was, but there is no serious WR threat in the AFC north except miami. 4) Detroit-like the bills, the offense is set it just needs a QB to run it, but the only thing that kept them from being my second team is their defense. no defense, i like terrence holt, i think he should start, dre bly is good and i love boss bailey but thats not close to being enough to let the offense win games. they may be able to get by with a average joey harington because their offense is stacked, but the defense will be the liability. 5)Texans-i think they have a great offense in the making, and that with a few players added to the defense and another good WR this team will be a contender for years. i think they are 1 or 2 years away from playoffs, but they will stay competitive all season and maybe pull out 9 wins. i think more of 7 or 8 wins. after all isnt that what the panthers were said to be last year? its all here for u to rember,
i like the things youre saying bout the eagles, and all the other teams, but for some reason, i think that the texans will have the best of your dark horses category... dont know why, but i just think that theyve gotten better every year and they should probably be a real contender this year... well just have to wait till september
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Philly_Freak93)</div><div class='quotemain'>. 3. troy vincent i think isnt the player he was, but there is no serious WR threat in the AFC north except miami. ,</div> Now that I have finished reading your blind predictions I'll take the fastball down the middle for 500 alex. I assume you meant AFC EAST and there is not a team in the league that wouldn't love to have the depth at receiver that the pats have. Everyone of them has the ability to make plays all over troy vincent. Branch, Givens, Brown, and Johnson, are all threats in our offense. So please don't act like Vincent can play in his sleep in our dvision. Oh ya Santan Moss and McCariens are a Joke as well. Just like Chambers is nothing as well and I'll assume you picked possibly the worst of the bunch as your threat Boston...well he is at least the worst production wise since he is never on the field and a constant sideline problem.

It is brady that most teams would want from this offense he is the reason for success not marginally talented recievers.
It's ok BF1 continue your bittnerness towards our success and we have a great group of YOUNG receivers and no matter how bitter you are nothing will change that....branch Givins and Johnson are a very solid young group poised for another succesfull year....Go Bobby Wade and David Terrell lolololololololol...and the one guy I do like Justin Gage....though his injuries are holding him back right now. Enjoy another dissapointing season BF1 ! But ya people wouldn't want a receiver that catches 10 balls for 145 yards and a score in the biggest game of his life...lol
i agree with pats i dont understand how you can say that the AFC north i mean east, has bad recievers. Pats do have a group of young recievers. Jets have Moss who has turned into a stud and McCariens who posted 800+ yards with a lot of TDs, as a third reciever. Bills have moulds and reed one vet and one young good player. i'm naming them even though u had troy vincent not having a problem with AFC east wrs. Chambers, Booker, Boston, great combo. Except Boston is gone, the QB is fielder (most likely we dont even know yet) and they have no running its not hard to just defend the pass when you know that your front 4 and a linebacker can stop Travis Minor. Anyway thats the AFC east wrs, for u and another thing Jets should be on that list over the Bills
I do not know how posting my opinion is jealousy, please explain. If it bothers you so much skip my posts
it's just where your opinions seem to come from not the posts themselves. Nothing wrong with a critic it's just you call guys that were productive during the season and very productive in huge scenarios scrubs out of spite, jealousy, or just to ruffle feathers. You can't honestly believe Dieon Branch or David Givins is a scrub and if you truely think that then you should take a look outside of chicago because you have no idea what you talking about. And trust me you don't bother me....I'm having fun...nothing better to pass some time during the work day than some spirited football talk.
i said deion branch was an average reciever, givins is a scrub, look at the numbers you are looking at your team through patriot colored glasses, best reciever on your team did not crack 1000 yards which puts him out top 50 recievers
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'> I cant imagine that many teams would want this group of scrubs, none of them had a good season last year.</div> Well you say branch is avg in one spot then they are scrubs and none were good soooo make up your mind. and if you want stats I think I can give ya a few "STATS" Givins didn't start till after week 9 and branch didn't start till after week five and both were second year receivers so the numbers they collected were solid. you continue to put words in my mouth....I have never claimed them to be top 50 top 100 top 1,000 that doesn't matter to me I have just said they were Solid and have said many times both are up and coming. If I was a person to look through "Patriots colored glasses" I would be spouting off about dillon and some unreal numbers...so anyways Branch only started 11 games and if you avg. his numbers out to 16 games....he would have had... 65 catches 935 yards 3 TD's very solid and he had another real solid game as the third receiver that wasn't part of the avg... Givens only started 7 games and I did the same with his numbers.... 59 catches 909 yards 9 TD's Now I'm not claiming had they started earlier in the season they would have put up these exact numbers just more along the lines of as they progressed through the season and claimed the starting positions, since they were only in their second seasons, they played to the level of receivers capable of putting up very solid numbers and with their age and the fact that a typical receiver doesn't truely understand his full pontential till his third season I'd say both those guys are heading in the right direction. Nevermind the fact that both seemed to play better as the games got bigger...seeing as givens had a TD and 5 plus grabs in the AFC championsship and the SUPER BOWL... and Branch didn't do much in the AFC championship game but certainly made up for that with his 10 catch 145 yard and a TD performance in the SB. Nobody on this site has claimed I view Pats players through "Patriots color glasses" before because I don't spout off predictions and have not claimed anyone out side of Brady, our defense , or team as a whole is top ten, top 5 or top anything.
I can't believe I'm going to agree with BF1 here, but I am. I have never went to my trade screen in Madden and thought, "Omigosh! Can I possibly swing a trade for one of those explosive Patriot WRs!" I think, the WRs, like the Defense, work very well for your specific situation. The fact that there is no superstar helps make it easier to spread the balls around. I do think Brady is THE talent though. (Even if I don't personally like him). I think Troy Brown was nearing "very good" (not elite) status 3 years or so ago, but has since lost a step. I think B. Johnson is super fast, but I dont think anyone will compare them to the Rice-Taylors, Moss-Carters or the Holt-Bruces of the football world anytime soon.
I looked at the numbers and no one really imprsses you....no one over 57 catches, no one over 803 yards, no one over 6 TDS and only Givens over 4....they dont exactly jump out of you....Brady does such a fantastic job of playing to he WRs strengths and spreading the ball around, they the offense succeeds without "go to" players....If I was starting a team and I got to pick any teams WR's core, the Patriots would be in the bottom 3rd of the league....but hey, they got scoreboard right now, so why should they care about thier below avg WR's....
