We will win game 4. I don't know how, but we will. Richardson will cool off. Rudy will continue what he started in the 4th. Lamarcus will grow a pair. And by the time all is said and done tomorrow afternoon, a return trip to the Rose Garden will be assured.

And when that happens--when the starting lineups are announced on Thursday, 4/29--Brandon Roy will be a part of them. We will begin that night down 3-2, and we will exit the weekend with a date with the Spurs in round 2, after winning game 7 in Phoenix.

    Dare to dream, people.

YAY for Perry. I forgot what positive thinking was after reading this board the past four days.

Hope your right......... problem is we are really struggling scoring the ball and the Suns are red hot. I think we'll see Roy in game 5.

Its been two games were we haven't been able to take advantage of their defense and they have owned ours. I think we know what we have to do now on both ends. I agree LMA will have realized he has balls and will play agressive, miller will be attacking again and rudy will finaly hit some shots when it matters.

We WILL win game 4. I'm so optamistic I will shave my head if we don't.

    Bump.

This isn't over yet. Roy will start Thursday, with a stronger knee and less rust. Camby will stay out of foul trouble. Rudy (hopefully) will play even less. Frye and Dudley will not repeat yesterday's performance. We're not dead yet, y'all.

Definitely not dead - but we will be if we show up with that kind of effort again. I don't know where our rebounding disappeared to, but we'd better find it over the next couple of days.

Trying to rep you, the box doesn't quite show up though. Anyways, repped for the positive attitude, and the initial good predicitions.

    Agreed 100%.

We are cleary down, but we are not out.

We WILL win game 6 and then take this series back to the desert where I predict we will see a team fight and claw like none other in game 7.

Remember, we are the underdogs. No Oden. No Godzilla. No Roy, then an injured Roy. An injured Batum. No back up center. No back up PG. We should have been easily swept. But we're going to be tied at 3-3 and then make game 7 a friggin' WAR.

And when we win I'm going to look at the 20 point losses and laugh. A winners laugh.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Absolutely not dead yet. Things will have to go a bit right for Portland to win, but nothing extremely unlikely has to happen. Bayless needs to keep playing well, Roy needs to get a bit closer to his normal level, Aldridge has to play well, Camby has to play well, Miller has to play well. If all those things happen, Portland should win, IMO. Any of those things not happening puts it in doubt and more than one of those things not happening makes a win quite unlikely.

and the NBA needs to let the Ref's call it like a playoff game. not a WNBA friendly

I'm optimistic they'll let this happen, but it's a shame it takes seven games to get there

Camby, Roy, and Aldridge need to stay out of foul trouble. That's the key.
