As many of you know, I'm probably the only person in America who called Marques Colston being a stud at the next level (Although to be fair, I got to watch him in person at Hofstra University so I did have some inside knowledge  )Well, this year I figured I'd go on the record with my next Sleeper player and once again I'm going to the 1-AA level.WR - David Ball - New HampshireBroke Several of Jerry Rice's Career Recieveing records, as his past 3 years he has put up the following numbers. 2004 - 1504 yds, 17 TD2005 - 1551 yds, 24 TD2006 - 1114 yds, 13 TDThe guy can just flat out play, and he showed that with a huge game also at the East-West Shrine Game where he had 3 receptions for 80 yards
:boredom: When he brok Rice's record he became the obvious choice at the sleeper pick, no offense. My Sleeper Pick is Jordan Palmer. :beerbang2:

Very productive, 6'4, 230lbs recievers who run a 4.4. Sounds like someone you can find in day 2, right?Sometimes you just gotta know where to look.

I wasn't picking him, won't claim I will, but your voice wasn't the only one saying Marques' name either. And if what you are saying is right, anyone can read off Height-Weight-Speed ratios and pick a sleeper based on that.
Yeah, Ball is kind of obvious Gotta look at Aaron Fairooz of Central Arkansas as the Colston-type of deep, deep sleeper

Colston was different, no one had really ever heard of him. But Ball.. everyone who is anyone knows who he is.

That doesn't make him a sleeper. Everyone knows about him and his talents. The only reason he'll be drafted (most likely) late in day two is because of the depth at WR. He wouldn't be a first day pick in a shallow class, but probably would go a full round higher than he will this year.

A sleeper is a player who for some reason or another gets drafted much farther down then he should, and is going to kick some ass at the next level. But whatever, I already said I'd choose another one since ya guys wanted to PMS over this one. :whistling:
A sleeper is someone no one expects to break out, and comes out of basically no where to catch everybody by surprise. At least that should be the definition when calling someone "this year's Marques Colston".And you're just mad because everyone knew who David Ball was

In that case, I officially crown David Ball the biggest steal of the draft!!! :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2:

He looked great in the Senior Bowl practices and has the physical skills. Add 10 or 15 pounds of bulk and you have a tall, fast WR with good hands.
