I feel bad for Nash and Amare specifically because it shows you can't win playing 2 on 5 down the stretch. Let's look at the FGM/FGA for the 3rd member of the "big 3" for the Suns. 1: 7-12, 2:2-4, 3:11-21, 4:4-8, 5:9-16, 6:5-12. For a well-oiled Championship caliber team (who has had your number in the past).......YOU NEED EVERYBODY. Kurt put in a little work, as did Raja. But MY Player Of The WEAK, is Barbosa. Total no show and I believe he was 2 - 17 from downtown and I believe that more than half of those were wide open. They needed everybody to contribute against this team consistently, and they didn't get that. Nash showed what a M.V.P. does. Even in defeat, he put his mark on that game and made crucial shots in the 4th. I hate that the "What If" factor is going to tarnish this series forever. One of the main reasons I really wanted the Suns to win AFTER the series started (I already wanted them to win) was because I don't believe I've seen a team with seemingly like the whole world against them. It would have been a major boost in confidence to say that they can beat all odds. You could possibly swap Vince and Marion (even though I'd hate to see that because Vince's stats show that in the playoffs, his FGM's decline considerably and he has no heart). I'd re-sign Marion unless they feel that there is a definite player out there that can help them now.
