    Lets Try To Be POSITIVE

there has been so much negativity and disappointment this season for the sixers. with the acquisition of chris webber last season. many expected the sixers to be one of the top teams in the east.

well, that didnt happen. but after the playoff lost, most looked to the bright side. AI and C-Webb will have a whole off season and training together to get chemistry. most thought next season we will definetly win the atlantic and be a top seed.

unfortunatly, it hasnt happened. we are the 8th seed and barely clinging onto a playoff spot. our record is currently worse than our record last season.

but in admist of all disappointment, we must look to the bright side and realize that regardless of what season the team has had, they have been with us since day one. the city of philadelphia has only one basketball team, and that is the sixers. the philadelphia 76ers as a team has brought our city together as one (or at least NBA fans) we have to realize although we arent the best team in the league, we have a team for this city. and that alone, makes me happy to know that the city of philadelphia will back up the sixers no matter what happens. as long as they are still in philly.

I could easily just move to another city that has a team and be grateful for that. The truth is, the city of Philadelphia doesn't back up the team no matter what. In fact, what pisses me off most during games is when fans starts leaving the games in order to beat traffic when they're losing. And the one game that I went to, almost everyone were doing that (we lost by seven to Pistons). And personally, I think the Sixers have lost quite a bit of fan base after staying in mediocrity all these years. The city is more focused on the Eagles and has always been.

true to that. but leaving games early doesnt really justify anything about being a "fan". if the sixers were losing or something, i would leave early too. to be honest with you, the sixers havent done anything in the past couple of years to deserve any attendance what so ever. they have just flat out stunked. but if you are from philly, and if you are a basketball fan, this is pretty much the only team youve got. us fans that have been through thick and skin must continue to stay positive or find some way to even though its looking harder and harder by the second. but all in all, i think things will be better in future and hopefully soon we will see this team contend again.

just trying to stay positive ;]
