Rafael Nadal says he will not play for defending champion Spain in next month's Davis Cup quarterfinals against France. After winning his third-round match at Wimbledon on Saturday, the seven-time Grand Slam title winner said he will pull out of the July 9-11 Davis Cup matches in France. He said his right knee has been bothering him, and he wants to make sure he is healthy when the year's last major tournament, the U.S. Open, begins in late August. Nadal said he received "new treatment" that helped his left knee after winning a clay-court title at Monte Carlo in April, but did not have time to get the same work done on the right side. Asked to describe the treatment, he said, "I can't explain [it] now, especially in English. Sorry." http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tennis/news/story?id=5331883
