Nakamura: "Im going for 3 in a row" Daz remember you said "Celtic better prey Nakamura stays" well no need Looks like were going for 3 in a row <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">SHUNSUKE Nakamura’s stunning injury-time free-kick against Kilmarnock delivered the title to Celtic. And today the Japanese midfielder gave Celtic supporters a further massive boost when he declared that he will be going for three-in-a-row with the Hoops next season. Nakamura has been in outstanding form for Celtic all season, something that was emphasised when he won the Players’ Player of the Year Award just hours after Celtic’s title triumph. His contribution to Celtic has been vital since his arrival at the club, and speculation inevitably follows the player regarding his future. However, speaking exclusively to the Celtic website, Nakamura confirmed that he is happy and settled at Celtic and already looking forward to helping the club in their bid to retain the title again. Nakamura said: “I’ll definitely be at Celtic Park next season, hopefully to lift my third championship in a row. “It has been a good season, playing well in the Champions League and we’ve won the league again. Now our aim is to win the Scottish Cup.” And the Japanese internationalist played down the personal accolade that he won for his performances this season. “It is a huge honour but I couldn’t do it just myself,” he said. “It has been won by the team who have been great. “It seems to be on the news in Japan all over the place and for the people who cannot come over here I think it is a good thing as they are getting to know a lot about Celtic as well. “I never thought I would get an award like that. The reason I came here was because I felt the manager really wanted me and he knows my style of play. It’s important to play under a manager who has a similar feeling towards football.” And speaking about that goal against Kilmarnock which secured a second consecutive league title for Gordon Strachan’s side, Nakamura said: “I saw the movement of the goalkeeper at that free kick. So this time I knew he would move to the near post, which is why I sent the shot to the far post. "It was a tough game for us. Celtic always have to win their games, but there was extra pressure on us for this. "But we are really proud of what we have achieved. I want to play in the remaining four games and, of course, the Scottish Cup final because I still want the double."</div> Source - Nakamura: I'm going for three-in-a-row
