What is Craig Nall thinking? He spent all of those years, behind Brett Favre, knowing that he was never going to get to play and what does he do when he gets a chance to move on? He signs with the team that has the great J.P. Losman at QB. Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire! [IMG]

Losman will probably start because of what the BIlls have invested in him... but when he fails again Nall will at least give them a good insurance. Nall isn't going to put fear in anyones eyes but I think he has potential of being a capable starting QB and at worse is a solid backup.

Isn't Kelly Holcomb still on the roster? Maybe he can fight for the job.

When Nall visited Minnesota, his only request was to be a #2 QB rather than a #3. Sounds to me like he wants to run the scout team, be relatively healthy, yet get paid for being a savvy QB.

Dick Jauron was quoted saying that both Losman and Holcomb will be the in the competition for the starting nod heading into training camp. Whoever impresses him and shows they deserve the starting job will get it. Honestly, I think Holcomb would be the better option. I was in Buffalo for the Carolina/Buffalo game and Losman didn't play terribley stat-wise, but he did make some eratic throws, including an interception on the last drive of the game, trying to lead his team to the win. I'm not sure if Nall will be involved in this competition, but you never know.

Nall would have gone to Minnesota, but they only offered him a one year deal. The Bills offered him a three year deal worth decent money and the chance to earn even more with playing incentives.

Losman is still a kid, remember. He's got 12 plus years of playing potential down the road. If Nall wins the starting job and plays for a year or two, all the better for Losman to take time to develop.

I guess Nall likes cold weather.

Why do I have the feeling that in 5 years we will still be waiting for Losman to have a breakout year?
