Namath wants to kiss Suzy Kolber

    Asked what it meant to watch the Jets struggle this season, Namath replied:

    "I want to kiss you. I couldn't care less about the team struggling. What we know is that we can improve. Chad Pennington, our quarterback, missed the first part of the season and we struggled. We're looking to next season."

    Namath then concluded the interview with another amorous overture to Kolber: "And I want to kiss you."

    A clearly miffed Kolber replied by saying: "Thanks, Joe. I'll take that as a huge compliment."

    In the broadcast booth, where Mike Patrick, Paul McGuire and Joe Theismann were calling the game, Theismann said, "Joe's just a happy guy."

    Neither Kolber nor the rest of the broadcast team were available for comment after the game.

    Joe's a single man and I don't blame him for wanting to kiss Suzy, but his "move" was 70's all the way! [​IMG]

    We all want to kiss Suzy Kolber, and some of us want to do a little more....atleast Joe had the guts to tell her, he will never be accused of being shy around women!

    Beef is right. We all wanna get Suzy under the mistletoe (How's that 4 a holiday tie-in?).

    That was incredibly awkward just to watch. I think Suzy handled it incredibly well.

    I almost spit my soda all over the screen when I read you post. That is too funny. All I know is Namath is a freak and the guy was flat out loaded. I said it as soon as the interview started then he just confirmed it with every word he said. The guy is a mess. Great entertainment. Nothing better than watching a drunk old man hit on a women on live TV.

    Either I'm totally out of touch, or you guys are desparate. Suzy Kolber? Really? Damn. Maybe I should lower my standards too! Next thing you know you are going to start telling me that Ann Coulter is attractive. They are both attractive compared to the average female or drug addict <snicker> doing that job, but that does not equate to attractive in the general scheme of things.

    Thanks Dale. She's not a total horse face, but she's not "all that" either. You guys should watch a channel outside ESPN once in a while. Joe too.
