Name a video game that for whatever reason put a serious strain on your relationship with another person(could be a friend, a parent, anyone)....
Ulitma Online, when it was 1st around, caused a serious riff between myself and my wife....I played way too much and she hated it....it nearly broke us up....
All Football Managers, especially the older ones like CM 99/00 - you get so addicted to that. It just annoyed pretty much everyone I knew, lol.
Hmm I can't remember which game it was...Mario Party, Wii Sports...or was it Live for PS3? Or maybe it was F.E.A.R. Not really sure, but one of those games caused me to really want to go to my friends' houses all the time to play it. Meaning less time for my GF, meaning she started gettin bitchy. Of course, then, I had to keep the pimp hand strong.

Hmmm....I would have to say Guitar Hero or Guitar Hero 2. That was, before I got my girlfriend addicted to them.
Halo 2. My freshman-year gf got pissed because what she thought would be a dinner and a movie turned into dinner and "uh, ok i'm gonna go I'll see you later tonight" in front of my dorm.
Halo for the PC. I was soooo addicted, especially since it had more maps and new weapons(that werent even in Halo 2)
Got to be Age of Empires II The rise of conquerors (AOC for short). I'm not much for playing single player versions of games, I want to get online and play vs ppl. AOC is a real time strategy game for the PC that I got HOOKED into. I used to work shift work on a 4 days on, 4 days off shift, I could play 13-15 hours a day. My gf would come home from university or work and be pissed cause I had done zero to clean up the apartment, or laundry, or even made dinner. And the toughest part for her was that once you started a game, you were playing vs ppl and a single 'match' would normally take at least 40 minutes. She'd want me to do something and I'd be like 'I just started a game, I can't quit cause there are other ppl playing' and since i was like a 2v2 or 3v3 etc, you couldn't let your team mates down man I lost a lot of sleep for that game too. I"d be up at 2 am playing with guys from Korea, Australia and this hell-a kool guy from Russia.... my gf kept calling it an addiction (which it probably was) and that I needed to quit.. I still ended up playing it for 3 years.. gawd I still love that game.
