    in 2 years Wallace will be a free agent, roy will only have 2 years left and LA will have 1 year.

    basically nate is saying rebuild without me

    I'm indifferent about this. Considering what else was out there, I guess it's not that bad. But I did want us to go in a different direction.

    Wonder what the $$$ looked like.

    He was previously one of the highest paid coaches in the league when he got his last extended contract (something like 5yrs, $30mil).

    Aren't Roy and LMA's deals are the same length? I know Roy has a player option for year five that LMA doesn't but that's it.

    Earlier in the season, I was wanting Nate gone. But, pulling out a winning season again, and with the players he has had available, has brought me around to being glad that he will be here another two season. I still have some big issues with Nate, but that could be said for 9 out of 10 coaches. I think Nate is in the top 25% of current NBA coaches. Good enough to keep around.

    I don't like some of his decisions, but I'm pretty sure there is no coach I would absolutely love. Especially not one that would be available.
