Last night wasn't his fault. The players just couldn't execute. I haven't seen Brandon Roy play that badly before.

I have decided to go easy on Nate......at least for a bit. Something desperately needs to change, but maybe it's more his assistants than him?

I think it was dumb to start Travis, and our offense still sucks and we still don't run, but maybe it's the assistants?

Nate came out himself and blamed himself.

I really respect Nate. I think he is on his way to being one of the top 5 coaches in the league in a couple years.

I think he blamed himself just to direct the blame away from the players, which is what a lot of coaches do.
He's not going to blame his team for playing like crap, and say he gave them a game plan and they didn't execute it. It's a young team, and he's not going to pin it on them after the first game.

I like Nate a lot and I think he's the right coach for this team. I hadn't read or heard that he blamed himself. I think that's good, because imo he's the one that screwed up the most with his lineup change. You just can't do that to a young team like ours when your going into the home of an elite team for the season opener. It fucked with everybody's heads.

Most of the team didn't show up to play last night - they came to watch Penknife play. There is only so much Nate can do to convince grown men to act like professionals.
