    Local affiliate KTLA 5 first reported that Campbell had been selected by her classmates at Marina High on Friday to be this year’s homecoming queen.
    Marina High Principal Paul Marrow praised his students for Campbell’s victory, saying, “Were proud of the message from home of the Vikings has been one of equity, acceptance, tolerance and respect.”

    Yeah, just like people voting the person with down syndrome in these things, its an ego boost or they voted because they feel sorry/guilt. Not to be fucked up, but that's probably the reality of it. And likely a good proportion of the male votes was to fuck with whomever was going to be the homecoming king...oh god, he has to slowdance with "the homecoming queen".

    They interviewed "the homecoming queen" and "the homecoming queen" had a dude's voice. Shanaynay levelz.
