<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I don't even think about the NBA," he said before a practice for the Sun Devils' regular-season finale Saturday against Arizona at Wells Fargo Arena. "I don't want to get sidetracked." Diogu, considered to be in a tight race for Pac-10 Player of the Year with Arizona guard Salim Stoudamire, said he would make the decision after the season. He said he plans to talk to his parents and Evans. "I haven't ruled out anything," said Diogu, who would receive a guaranteed contract if, as currently projected, he is mid to late first-round pick. NBA scouts have mixed opinions on his value because of uncertainty about what position he would play in the pros. Diogu left no doubt Tuesday that Evans' fate would be a significant factor in his decision. Evans, he said, is the reason he is at ASU.</div> Source
With a pretty cheesy draft, I just don't see 5 guys I'd pick ahead of Diogu. He plays a VERY complete game,offense/defense,inside/outside. The key is he plays full tilt, doesn't coast, and that tells me he will continue to expand his skills, while some others, once they cash in their NBA bonus, will find that extra gym time is a low priority
