<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Never one to shy away from media attention, LSU freshman Glen Davis made sure his voice was heard on Saturday.
The affable Davis was asked about LSU fans chanting "One more year" every time Brandon Bass touched the ball late in the Tigers' win against Vanderbilt, a not-so-subtle plea for the 6-foot-8 sophomore to return for another year of college basketball instead of bolting for the NBA.

"What do I think?" Davis said with twinkling eyes, then pumped up his volume loud enough so that Bass, sitting a few feet away, could hear clearly. "Of course I think he should come back.

"I mean, he's got to make the decision for himself, but if he wants my advice, I'd tell him to come back. It would make us that much better. We're going to be pretty good anyway, but if he's back with me and with who we've got coming in -- watch out!"

Indeed, the thought of Bass, Davis and incoming recruit Tasmin Mitchell has LSU fans salivating. Add the fact that two of the Tigers' current starting guards should return, along with four other lettermen and four other new recruits, and Bass has plenty of incentive to come back.</div> Source
