What two teams do you think will meet in the NBA Finals this year?

    I say......
Sixers and Lakers, and if POSSIBLE it could be Sixers and Kings.
Some of you are probably wondering why in the world am I putting the Sixers. Well all I have to say is when comes playoff time. AI is a beast, and now that he has Big Dog, and he play's more of a team game now a days, they have a better chance. But the one and only thing that can set them back is injuries...IMO they are easily the best team in the east. Well not right now, but once everyone is healthy, and they have better chemistry... ITS A WRAP! Mark my words, by the end of the All Star break, they are going to be a nasty team, and they are making it to the Finals.

Is it me, or there is way to many prediction threads going right now? And were not even half way through the season, so I cannot answer this question with any thought put into it. But I'll throw a couple teams out, Lakers and Pacers.

I really don't know why we're already discussing the NBA Finals 2004, but my two teams would have to be Pistons/Lakers.

i'll say that the Pacers will have a same type of season they had last year(good start and a terrible end) and if the Sixers get healthie then they are in the finals. You prolly think im saying it cause im a sixer fan but they have a normal frontcourt(when healthie) and their backcourt is great(when healthie)+their bench is full of great player..Korver and Mckie are very good at 3-point shooting,Jackson and Dalembert are just great to have on your roster+other good players they have.

    my prediction:Lakers/Kings-Sixers(if they get healthie)/Nets

Can't argue with that. Of course it will go to 7 games and the Pistons will win though. We beat you at home and almost won away! And this was when you were good!

All right, All right. Lakers win. [IMG] Still, Pistons get there!

You have to be joking. I highly doubt that the Bulls will make it out of the first round of the playoffs this year, and thats even if they make they playoffs.

They are 9-21 and 7th in Central Division. Even thinking that they will possibly be in the Finals is an absolute joke in my opinion.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

For right now, both confrences are too close to call. I like the Lakers a lot to go to the Finals simply because they can outmatch any other team on any given night. However Minnesota and Sacramento can really suprise them if they are not careful. Both teams have good enough players to make it that far. As for the East I think it will either be the Nets, Pacers, or Pistons. I am going right now with the Nets. They have been playing very well lately, especially Jason Kidd. They have been to the Finals the past two years and the coming addition of Eddie Griffin only makes them stronger.

My prediction right now is Lakers vs. Nets

I'm thinking Pacers/Nets/Pistons against Twolves/Lakers/Mavericks. I know the Mavericks haven't been playing well. Although I love and respect both the Grizzlies and Warriors, I don't think they'll win any Gold, I certainly think they'll make the playoffs though.

I wish they put this much effort into the team forums with actual GAMES being played now.

I refuse to comment on some of these predictions, someone might get hurt, haha.

man oh man , this site is just full of anti-spurs fans... havent u guys been watching the NBA lately? I can understand if some of u guys dont choose SA , but the SPURS atleast deserve a few mentions...Anyways im sticking with my preseason prediction:

    EAST:Sixers
    WEST:Spurs

    Spurs in 5 or 6

p.s. twolves in the finals? please! First they need to learn how to get out of the 1st rd.

Are you kidding? The Twolves are such a hard working team. And about the Spurs, course I haven't forgotten about them. They're one of the most impressive teams ever. As long as they don't gain Kidd through the loss of say Malik Rose and get him for free, they'll be even stronger.

The Spurs and Twolves are more of defensive teams, great in it infact, since the scores never usually go into triple digits. Minnesota will get past the first round I assure you. I love the Spurs, they have the ultimate combination of traits, "skill and determination." I've said that time and time again. Other teams have that too but on different levels, and that includes the Twolves so they will get quite far in the playoffs. Lakers and Dallas are other teams of "the level".
