I'd love to see the two best point guards in the league today and there teams go at it in the NBA Finals to see who could lead there team to a Championship before the other. Alot of people say Nash is the best but I always have and always will think Kidd is better but thats just me. Don't get me wrong Nash is a great player but I just think Kidd is better. Theres also the matchups of Vince Carter vs Bell and Richard Jefferson vs Amare that would be great to see. What matchup would you like to see?

It was a great series and I expect it to be great again, although since then the Pistons have taken the individual advantage over the spurs and I see them winning the series.

Best Series for the NBA would be Suns/NetsBest Series technically would be Pistons/Spurs (And the match-up I'd like)The worst series (in terms of entertainment) would be Detroit/Utah. Most casual NBA fans don't like defensive battles.

Basketball isn't supposed to be played anyway. It is played the way you want to play it. Is it in the yearbook that it should be a defensive game? No. I believe its supposed to be played the way the Suns play. But according to some people, that's wrong. It isn't supposed to play any way. And your going to the extreme with the And1 stuff. I don't feel like getting bored out watching the Pistons-Spurs again. Don't people want to see new faces in the Finals? Look at football for example. People don't want the Patriots to win because they want new faces in the finals, like the Colts. I don't see why people want to see the same teams over and over. I want to see some new faces. With the Suns in the finals, it would be so much better for the NBA. I would watch any team vs the Suns in the finals. Of course I think the best series for the NBA and me would be Suns-Nets. Jkidd vs Nash, two offensive minded teams. I think it would be a great series, but I doubt it will ever happen.

Utah vs Detroit.The Jazz can beat Detroit, and have been doing so a lot in the last 4 years(7-2 I believe including preseason) I'm also a Jazz fan so it's obvious why I picked the Jazz. I picked Detroit because no way would the refs allow the Jazz to beat Lebron and the Cavs, they'd F*ck the Jazz over to much. and I don't want the Nets because they always pull something out of their asses to beat the Jazz.

I'm not saying that other teams don't play the game correctly, but I'm saying that San Antonio and Detroit are the two most fundamentally sound teams in the NBA, they are more about name on the front of the jersey, they play great basketball on BOTH ends of the floor, and they are unselfish. To me, yes.. that's the way the game should be played.

Re: NBA Finals Matchup You'd like to see? Long shot but my favorite series: Suns vs Nets- I saw the 161-157 game live at CAA, and I am itching to see these 2 teams play again. Aside from Nets being my hometown team, I just think they are a very entertaining team to watch and against Phoenix Jason Kidd will be running and gunning, which would be amazing since he would be head-to-head with Nash. Great matchups all around, lots of offense, and 2 very fun teams to watch.More likely, and my 2nd choice: Suns vs Pistons- Pistons are the best team in the East, very well balanced, and can run and gun vs Phoenix. Phoenix is fun as hell to watch, and it'd be awesome to see these 2 teams play each other.My least favorite, but most likely matchup: Spurs vs Pistons- Both are boring as hell to watch in halfcourt, Duncan would have a field day with no Ben Wallace down there, and it's just blah.

Did you read what Redneck said? 7-2 or some stupid number like that.Everyone that said they wanted to see the Suns in the finals, Is your idea of a "great" basketball game having the team run up the court, jack up a three then run down the court and let the other team score, then run back up the court to jack another three?
