    Larry Brown dominated the polls

    Next president? [IMG]

But seriously...Surprised to see Rick Carlisle not even listed in the best NBA coach poll...I rank him top 5 for sure.

It's debatable but Jackson had been given great talent to work with.Greats such as MJ,Pippen,Shaq and now Kobe...Brown has built teams from the lottery to playoff teams....This year he will be coaching a contender already..and weather he can turn the Pistons to a championship team remains to be seen...It's a shame we will never see Phil coaching a lottery team....I wish he stayed on at the Bulls the year MJ retired after winning the title...then we would of seen how good he really is.

True, Phil has had better talent to work with. I'll say this, Larry may teach the game better. To me, inder to be a great NBA coach you have to be a great manager of people/players/egos. Phil has this hands down. Larry now has the most talent he ever has in D-Town. Here's his chance to prove he's the best. You think Larry could've coached Rodman?

Does the name Allen Iverson ring a bell? AI has had his problems....could Jackson of coached AI? If Larry could control AI and keep him in check I reckon he would do just fine with Rodman...However to be honest I'm not yet sure how Larry Brown will really do in Detroit..time will tell

Larry alienated AI a lot of times. Don't get me wrong, AI had his problem too. BUT he was Larry's best player and was constantly having to adjust to new players because Larry kept reconstructing the team. Ai won a lot of games for Larry. But like you said we'll see happens in D_TOWN
