The league certainly doesn't seem to have much confidence in our title aspirations this year. You get the impression that we're sort of viewed like Lebron's Cavs, except Derrick Rose isn't quite as good and our supporting cast is better. Nothing else was really all that surprising, IMO, except that so much of the league is expecting Klay Thompson to break out. It seems like most of the league's back offices have been waiting for MIA to get their shit together, and now that they have, see little reason why they can't go all the way from here on out. They're probably going to be the default title favorites for the next 3 years if no one gets injured, regardless of their performance.
The Cavs were pretty good, talent-wise. Then they dismantled the team after getting handcuffed by the CBA. Then LeBron left.
Thanks for the link. Yeah, it's interesting. The GMs certainly aren't overly high on the Bulls except for overwhelmingly conceding them the best defense in the league. I'm surprised that they gave the Bulls the nod with Asik gone...I don't. Otherwise I pretty much don't give a shit. I'm not high on this Bulls team (for this season), but I suppose that I wouldn't be too high on any other one-superstar team that is without its superstar for an undetermined time.
