Hey wats goin on! Im new to this site but I don't know if this site has a mock offseason game. I'm interested in starting one and I would like to get it started very soon, hopefully before the actual NBA draft. Everyone would control a team and we will be playing with the real salaries and salary cap. Every team gets a mid level exception and things of that nature. We will hold the draft (if the league is full before then). There will be trades allowed after that and during the draft. If you want more info on the rules and/or have suggestions please post them on this thread. I will be the commisioner and will look for a person or two who has been with JBB for a while and can be trusted to co-commish the league if necessary. The object is not necessarily to have the best team at the end, but rather to improve your team the most. So if you have any comments etc. please post them here and if you would like to control a team please PM me the team you want (I will have a list here and it will be first come first serve.) I will choose the Raptors.

In the end all the GM's will vote on which team has improoved most and that's pretty much who wins. Yeah theres trades, and we start with the real rosters as soon as the league is full, so if full before draft we get to draft, if not we have the players drafted by our teams. And yes there is a salary cap (i have to find what the new figure is its between 47-50 million).
We will be using the salaries from this past season averaged out (exp. Malik Allen makes 3.2 over 2 years so he will count for 1.6 million dollars, there will be no making more in the next year because it will be to difficult that way). When we sign free agents it will work like that aswell. Say you want to sign Robert Archibald then you will give him say a 2 year contract for $ 800,000 which will count for $400,000 of your total salary. Hold the trade offers untill the league is full please. Also all trades must go through the commish and I will post the trade and it's details. For more questions on salaries and trading please don't PM those to me because I want everyone to see the questions and answers, this will make my job easier. Im sure we will have it started sometime this weekend.

I will be using the salaries that I found on insidehoops.com since none that you can find are 100% accurate because teams don't like to release that information. They are very accurate tho and I will calculate all that stuff so that you can have a quick reference in a different thread.
i pmed bluebayou my team which is the nets. can we do draft day trades or trades to move up in the draft because i want to move up into the top 10. also, i think we need another thread where there is one big list of rosters and each players salary and the commish or w/e goes in and changes and updates the rosters,etc when trades go down.
