Before anyone beats me to it, let's start this thread: Here are my predictions on the series': Eastern Conference Miami- 4 Nets- 3 Pistons- 4 Sixers- 1 Celtics- 3 Pacers- 4 Chicago- 4 Washington- 3 Yes, I really do expect all those game seven's. I will go into analysis of my reasons later on. Western Conference Suns- 4 Grizzlies- 1 Spurs- 4 Nuggets- 3 Seattle- 4 Kings- 2 Dallas- 4 Houston- 2
dang spawn, beat me. Eastern Conference Miami- 4 Nets- 3 Pistons- 4 Sixers- 1 Celtics- 2 Pacers- 4 Chicago- 4 Washington- 2 I don't really think there are going to be that much game 7s. I really expect New Jersey to put up a fight against Shaq. Western Conference Suns- 4 Grizzlies- 0 Spurs- 4 Nuggets- 3 Seattle- 2 Kings- 4 Dallas- 2 Houston- 4
East Round One Miami - 4 New Jersey - 1 Detroit - 4 Philadelphia - 2 Boston - 4 Indiana - 3 Washington - 4 Chicago - 2 West Round One Phoenix - 4 Memphis - 1 San Antonio - 4 Denver - 2 Seattle - 4 Sacramento - 3 Dallas - 4 Houston - 1

Quote:

Celtics- 3 Pacers- 4 Chicago- 4 Washington- 3
I think both of these series' could go either way. I remember Indiana killing the Celts last year but the Celts have sort of reloaded this year while the Pacers have, in a sense, unloaded. However, I still have faith in some of that good ol' Reggie magic but I do expect the Celtics to put up a fight, thus the seven game series. Most likely it will end in six but I'll stick with seven to make things interesting. Washington vs. Chicago is a tough series to predict because both teams are solid but Chicago just lost Eddy Curry while Washington is back and healthy so my prediction could be way off. I think the only way the Bulls will win is through seven games but Washington has just a good of chance to take it in six or seven as well. I expect a tight series. As for the New Jersey and Miami series, I think it will be closer then more people anticipate. Of course, nowadays, everyone is saying that but I think NJ will put up a fight rather than just roll over in the path of Wade and Co. That series will go either 6 or 7, I picked seven because I give the Nets the benefit of the doubt to push it to the limit but eventually, Shaq Daddy will take over, they have no one who can come even close to guarding him.

Quoting el_guasibiri:

East Round One Miami - 4 New Jersey - 0
It had to be a Knick fan not to even give Jersey a game, honestly its your opinion, so I cant be mad. But remember expereince factor goes to Jersey, plus the Nets have been playoff style basketball for the last month due to their backs being against the wall to just to get in, while Shaq has been chillin on the side lines with nagging injuries, Jersey will put up a fight, so a strange prediction by you in my opinion. But I guess we shall see...

EASTERN CONFERENCE: New Jersey - 4 Miami - 3 Detroit - 4 Philly - 0 Chicago - 4 Washington - 3 Pacers - 4 Celtics - 2 WESTERN CONFERENCE: Phoenix - 4 Memphis - 2 Denver - 4 San Antonio - 2 Seattle - 4 Sacramento - 2 Houston - 4 Dallas - 1 Ok, I'm sure most of you are all wondering about that first prediction I made, with New Jersey winning in 7 over Miami. Personally, I don't know if Miami will go anywhere. They're literally limping into the playoffs. They've cooled down extremely and Shaq has been often injured over the past month or so. Beyond that, New Jersey has been playing some of the best basketball in the NBA as of late. Jason Kidd has been phenomenal and Vince Carter has returned to his old self. Than you also have a potential return of Richard Jefferson come playoffs as well. And, if Jefferson performs and doesn't show any rust from the time off, that will be a hard threesome for Miami to handle. Plus, Nenad Krstic has been playing great basketball as well. Miami on the other hand, has Shaq, who isn't likely 100%, and Dwyane Wade. After that, who? Eddie Jones never shows up in the playoffs. Damon Jones isn't bad, but is by no means great. 'Zo isn't going to be too much of a factor if Shaq is healthy, and he hasn't been a huge one even when he isn't healthy. To me, the lack of depth is going to hurt Miami in the long run, and with all the firepower New Jersey has in Kidd, Carter, and Jefferson, Miami will have a tough time and I would seriously not be surprised to see them have an early exit.
