Farther down in that link: Lisa Dillman, LA Times: "Fred Jones came to Los Angeles with very little baggage. Literally. The free-agent guard came to the Clippers for a quick viewing and workout before signing a non-guaranteed contract and then played in his first game with his new team on Sunday. He said he didn't bring much in the way of clothes because he didn't know if he would be staying long, not having any idea how the tryout might unfold. The staff was joking about getting him more Clippers gear. Life in a sweatsuit can get rather old, though. Finally, more clothes arrived from his home in Portland, Ore. 'I got a shipment in the mail,' he reported on Wednesday. 'My wife took care of me.'"
God, I hope they bitch about that for a month. You'd think they didn't have a five point lead at the end of that half, and blew it in the second half or something.
Gee, I wonder when they are going to admit they blew the Paul Pierce 4-step, 3-point call as well. That call was just as ridiculous, cost the Blazers 3 points, and happened at a much more crucial time in the game and gave Oden his 5th foul. Well at least they described it accurately on the official NBA play-by-play description of the game: Pierce Running Bank shot: Made BNM
I agree. Refs blew the call. Didn't decide the game or anything, but I hope next time the refs get it right.
Ever wonder why in almost every article about this there's never any quote, or link to the official statement? It's because the Boston media hacks want you to believe that the refs got it wrong by letting the points stand. However if you actually track down the official statement, you'll see that the NBA fully backs the refs letting the basket count. It was the correct decision. The mistake the NBA is referring to is the refs not noticing earlier that we had 6 men on the court. When will people learn not to trust the media? They're just as biased, and agenda driven as anyone else out there; and anything they say must be taken with a grain of salt.
Nobody on the Celtics even suggested that it had any impact on the outcome of the game. I'm sick of reading bullshit like this. Certain players were asked questions about the play and decision, specifically, and they answered the questions. None of them went out of their way to even bring it up. Seriously, if you want to talk about bitching, then look at yourself, because apparently you love bitching so much that you invent imaginary things to bitch about.
How about, "No comment" or "Let's move on from this"? If they are being bated by the media, then they can do that instead of go into it again and again. So no, they're clearly not over complaining about it, and it's not imaginary.
Show me my bitching posts, since I love to do it so much. Maybe I don't exaggerate quite as much as you think.
