I may be posting this in the wrong place....but Who is going to be a Breakthrough player out of no where this upcoming year and hes draft stock will rise i think JR Giddens is one, well i wont say a breakthrough IMO because he miss a season (Transfer) but people will just remember who he is and will have a great season and end up a 1st rounder other than a 2nd rounder Another is Glen Davis-well actually hes a the biggest question mark in all of NCAA hes maybe now like 6'8 250 Ilbs, is he a Still a PF/C or now a SF/PF? i can't even say anything about him. but his whole game is changed like they rumored it is. he could be a top 10 pick but the real one IMO will be a breakout year IMO is Antonio Anderson a Combo Guard from Memphis. he has all the tools to be a great player and with Shawne,Rodney,Darius, etc. gone he will have a breakout year and will end up going to the draft next year as a Mid 1st Round-Lotto draft pick
I like the Auburn transfer Toney Douglas's chances at FSU this year. I think he will surprise a lot of people and give the Noles the spark that they need. (They still won't beat the Gators though. )
DeVon Hardin will explode for Cal this year IMO. Last year he was he was Powe's sidekick but this year the post is left for him. He's a big athletic big man that does a lot of stuff you don't notice. He'll block shots, get rebounds, and dive for loose balls. I'd say he could be a taller version of Ben Wallace, but he has lottery written all over him if he can develop some post moves. Chamberlain Oguchi is another name to watch for, the guy is money for 3 sometimes. Last year the Pac-10 tourney he had like 20 points in the first 15 minutes of a game because he's a streaky guy. They were calling him "The Microwave" because he'd be 0-10 then come down 5 straight possessions and drain a 3. Him, Aaron Brooks, and Malik Hairston will lead that Oregon Duck team this year. Sean Singletary is an overlooked player in the ACC, he's one of the top PG's in the ACC but he's overlooked because he's on a Virginia team that's not that elite anymore. But just keep an eye on him. Here's a few other names to keep an eye out for: Ivan Radenovic <font color=""Red"">ZONA</font> Nick Young <font color=""Red"">USC</font> Richard Hendrix <font color=""Red"">BAMA</font> Derek Raivio <font color=""Blue"">Zags</font> Juan Palacios <font color=""Red"">Louisville</font>
even though I hate the Trojans I have to agree that Nick Young is going to have a breakthrough year I work at USC and catch some practices on my free time and from what I see he is going to terrorize the Pac-10 next season.
