    The NCAA is reportedly investigating Texas-based trainer and scout Will Lyles' possible ties to an LSU recruit, weeks after it asked Oregon for information about Lyles' possible involvement in recruiting a Ducks prospect.

    NCAA investigators have interviewed Trevon Randle, a linebacker from League City, Texas, who signed with LSU last month, according to multiple reports.

    LSU officials have confirmed the school paid $6,000 to Complete Scouting Services, a college recruiting firm that employs Lyles.

    ESPN.com reported earlier this month that the NCAA was looking into Oregon's $25,000 payment to Lyles' firm and his possible involvement in the recruitment of running back Lache Seastrunk, of Temple, Texas. Oregon has confirmed it paid for the service.
