The deadline for NCAA players to pull out of the NBA draft is this Monday at 5:00 p.m. ET. As it stands though, there are only thirteen players who are still on the fence. ESPN broke them down, and you can read that here, but here is the names-only list of those players: Mike Conley, Jr. - Likely going pro Daequan Cook - Likely going pro JamesOn Curry - 50/50 Jeff Green - 50/50 DeVon Hardin - 50/50 Spencer Hawes - Likely going pro Dominic James - Likely returning to school Marcelus Kemp - 50/50 Maureece Rice - Likely returning to school Charles Rhodes - Likely returning to school Jason Smith - Likely going pro Thaddeus Young - 50/50 Those five players in bold are the ones to watch out for. The casual NBA fan doesn't realize it, but even though some of these guys are even borderline second round picks, their return to their collegiate teams could mean the difference between an NCAA birth or an NIT birth; or in the case of players like Jeff Green, a potential NCAA title versus and early tournament exit.
