Expect to see VCU move up a little in the coming weeks. Anthony Grant has done a great job over there in his first year as a head coach.

How is Syracuse still rated? They lost to both Louisville and St. Johns last week.

They aren't off to a good start this week either after getting blasted by Notre Dame last night.

Yeah, I agree on Cuse, they're fading despite a ridiculous talent level.

Look at the huge differences between our poll and the national ones - #12 Memphis by the Coaches? [IMG] And they've still got Bama and LSU ranked.

[IMG] It took my Badgers a 17 game win streak to become the unanimous #2 - I can't wait to see us #12 in next week's poll [IMG]

How couldn't he have done a great job? They haven't played anyone. They only have one decent win, against Drexel, and they're even below average. And it's not just the teams they've beaten that have given the Rams one of the NCAA's lowest Strenght of Schedules, but it's the teams they lost to as well. They've been beaten by the likes of Appalachian State, Toledo, and Hofstra.

They're not that talented of a team, and their resume isn't that impressive. I just don't see a reason to give them any votes in the rankings.

At the moment, Winthrop is the big winner resume-wise. They have four losses: by 7 pts @ North Carolina, by 4 points @ Wisconsin, @ Maryland, and @ Texas A&M. As far as major-conference wins goes, they don't exactly have any big wins unless you count blowing out Mississippi State, but to go through any schedule with your only losses being on the road to four great teams like that is impressive. Not to mention that they're undefeated in their conference so far, something that VCU can't say.
