Saw one of those in a showroom just yesterday. Pretty slick. It's not NE Portland style, though. NE Portland style is more like an overhead tank with a chain pull. barfo
my grandparents had one of those in their house when i was growing up. You could always tell someone used the rest room, no matter where you were in the house. And on the positive side, it never clogged.
Japanese have had these toilets for like 20 years. granted this is probably more aesthetic but warmed seats, music, sprays and all the gizmos are nothing new.
So quiet and efficient. Didn't realize how expensive they were until I was going to replace the only non-Toto toilet in the house.
Yeah, all of the family we stayed with had toilets with built in heaters, bidets, etc. A few had a spout above the tank, so you wash your hands with the water before it is used to flush the toilet, which I'm sure saves a ton of water.
