wanted to start a thread appreciating the great job Neal did last summer to rebuild the bench, and he did it giving literally nothing away and he did not over reach or over pay for players that so often happens in FA - great job Neal and keep it up!

He was also the person who tore down the bench a year earlier.

After years of Pritchard/McMillan emphasizing defense, I like Olshey's emphasis on getting shooters. But I'll wait another year to evaluate him. Let's see what he does next summer, and also how well McCollum turns out.

I'm looking for another "upgrade" this year and maybe relatively soon - either Asik or Hawes and we keep Lopez, go for it Neal

I'm starting to think CJ is just an added bonus. I really hope he works out, but we already have a damn good team compared to last year.

Still need some serious help around the hoop protecting the rim. Lopez, Aldridge, Robinson and Freeland will get better as the year goes on as far as communicating appropriately, but if this keeps up it's going to be a long season.

I'm amazed at how many in the national media have slept on Neil's summer.

I'm even more surprised that many teams slept on getting him.

It's more about Donald Sterling being a cheap bastard and not paying him what he's worth.

Luke Babbitt, Nolan Smith, Jonny Flynn, Eliot Williams, and Hasheem Thabeet agree with you on the bench thing.
