I just got this cool shirt today, but it's kind of big. Just wondering if anyone knows what I can do to shrink it without damaging the shirt? I know I can shrink it by putting it in the dryer, but is there any other way? I heard you can shrink clothes by washing it under hot water. Is that true? And can I hand wash it? Because I don't want to wash all my clothes under hot water, which will happen if I do the laundry
Heat will shrink the shirt if it's cotton. If you're against drying it, you could wash it in hot water (try soaking it in hot water if you want to hand wash it, maybe?) and hang it up to dry. Hot air will be the most effective, though.
Hm, okay thanks. Do you have any experience with this? I'm just wondering how much it will shrink if I do it one time.

Since then I haven't had a problem. So if telling you all the things I avoid is experience, then I say yeah
Grrrrr But can I dry it by hand washing and then air drying? I don't want to put my clothes in the dryer
I can't. It was the only size available... Is it possible to put one shirt in the dryer though, without screwing up the shirt or the machine? Will it over heat or something?
