I just had our fantasy football draft and Im wondering how you guys think I did. QB: Marc Bulger RB: Priest Holmes, Tatum Bell, Chris Brown WR: Hines Ward, Jerry Porter, Santana Moss, Mushin Muhammed, Bradon Stockley TE: Randy McMichael D: Philly I have other guys but I forget who they are, so what's your opinion on my draft? I need a new RB now that Bell is no longer the starter, gonna try and trade for Mike Anderson. Thanks for opinions...
Not bad. Bulger is a decent QB...careful with Holmes (could be a health hazard). WR's are probably the weakest area IMO. Philly will be a good D for you.
the reasons why i stayed away from holmes in our draft is because he just came back from a huge injury and he is getting bumped from behind from a up and coming Larry Johnson. But if Holmes comes back 100% he is a beast at getting into the endzone
Update: I was going from memory so here is my actual lineup: QB: Marc Bulger, J. Harrington RB: P. Holmes, T. Bell, Mike Anderson, Chris Brown, Ricky Williams WR: Hines Ward, Jerry Porter, S. Moss, Bruce, Stockley, M. Robinson TE: R. McMichael D: Philly D players: R. Lewis, L. Fletcher, D. Brooks what positions do i need help in? a guy wants to trade me R. Wayne for I. Bruce , do i take it?
I don't think I would trade Reggie Wayne for Issac Bruce. Reggie Wayne is younger and his numbers weren't that far off of Marvin Harrison's numbers last year. Also, you have Marc Bulger for your QB, so having Wayne gives you some diversity. If you trade for Bruce and the Rams have a crappy week, then your stuck. You could use some help at running back. The running back you have that I would feel comfortable with is Priest Holmes and he tends to get dinged up a bit by the end of the season. You never know who will be running for the Broncos. Chris Brown plays for the Titans so how good is his production going to be? Ricky Williams is suspended for a month so you have to ask how will Ronnie Brown do and can Williams get back in shape. If you got Ricky in the lower rounds, he was a good pickup though.
yea, I got Ricky in the last round. And with that trade, I would be getting Wayne and trading away Bruce. I think whoever plays for the Broncos, whether Anderson or Bell they will put up big numbers.
I misread your other post. Yeah, I would take Reggie Wayne. I have to wonder if time is going to catch up with Issac Bruce sometime soon.
yea, i agree. Has anyone heard on whether Anderson and Bell will share carries in Denver? Or will Anderson get most of the load?
From what I've heard, Michael Anderson is first on the depth chart and Ron Dayne may actually be second.
Ron Dayne? Tatum Bell avg. almost 5 yds a carry... how is Dayne even on that team, let alone ahead of Bell?

Fantasy wise Wayne has way more upside at WR and would be an upgrade at WR. Your RB's are weak. IF Priest gets hurt your chances of making the playoffs disappear. I don't think that is playoff team but if Priest can play strong than maybe. Bell and Anderson situation is real iffy to me. I think both are gonna split a lot of time which is gonna kill fantasy owners who own both of them.
