Lets' all pool our Knicks knowledge (well yours anyway) to be a smart GM of the Knicks. What is our biggest need this offseason and how are we gonna address it? Do we need a big man? Do we WANT housten back at all? What do you guys think?

Whether we want Houston back or not is a moot point, he's untradeable. Even if he comes back next year like the Houston of old, that contract and that question mark on his knees will ensure that he finishes his contract here. We better hope he's healthy next season or we'll be talking about whether or not we should draft Adam Morrison or Rudy Gay or Sergio Rodriguez with our lottery pick(I like Rodriguez by the way).

We need a young big man, sign players who understand the concept of defense, pick players up from the draft that understand the word defense, bring back Rick Pitino and we need to clear up cap space. I think everyone knows what I want to do, I want to trade anybody who can be traded(exception of Sweetney and Ariza of course) for picks for this year's draft. Let Rick Pitino work his magic on our new young talent. Wait a few years and watch as our young group become contenders like the Bulls did(hopefully it wont take as long). In other words I want to start over.

I think they need to get better on defense and should get a perfect defensive palyer out there.Getting Damon Stoudamire in the free agency for less money than he's been paid in Portland {could be good} on the meaning of having a shooter on the floor with leadership and experience when Marbury is getting a rest on the bench. On the Center situation {DON'T draft a Center} unless he's from the USA.Just because European Center are not Guarantee to come and play.
Draft a player that can D-UP always and sign a Center from Free-Agency.

Need to get someone who can shoot the 3! Also, resigning Trevor Ariza is important.

sheer brilliance. You want us to sign a center via free agency and sign damon stoudamire in free agency when the only way we can sign a player is our MLE. So how are we supposed to sign both? When Marbury is getting a rest we have a shooter out there in Crawford. I agree we need a backup PG but damon isnt the answer. We have a late-first round pick or an early 2 pick to get one with.
