Anyone have any recent information regarding Nenad Kristic?? I've only heard rumors about his 35" vertical and that he'd be a top 10 pick in this year's draft. Darko also said that he's a real good player and a difficult matchup cause he has an inside-outside game... However, I still kinda question how reliable these sources are... But I know Vlade Divac is really high on him and wanted the Kings to get him.
Nenad Krstic won't be a top 10 pick this year, because he's already ours. He was our first pick during the 2002 draft. He's playing during the season in Europe to hone his skills. Last I heard, he was injured. No updates yet. He's a 6'11 who can play the FC position. He has range of up to 15 feet and does have tremendous jumping ability for his size. He's too skinny though. The Nets are hoping that he'll be available for next season.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting InNETSweTrust:</div><div class="quote_post">Nenad Krstic won't be a top 10 pick this year, because he's already ours. Well if the draftcity rumor is true that the Nets have offered or plan to take some mysterious bigman with the #22 pick this year. Then that pobably means they have some doubts about Kristic. Those doubts could be about his avaiblity to the team(ex Fredric Weis never coming to the knicks) or it could be about his skills or a injury problem. We have to wait and see what is the true story about this Kristic.
Anyone got a profile on the Kristic kid? What's his deal? From what I remember he is supposed to be really good but got shipped to play over Europe due to some contract problems with a team over there. Right?
Another rumor, I have heard Kristic in 2002 is 6"11, but now he is 7"1... b/c when nets picked up him, he is only 18, so he could be taller, he has long hand, and good jumping ability, but he is too thin, he should train himself.
but..will A-train be traded out with Kittles ?? I hope nets' three brothers can stay with kristic and add a good shooter.
Hey DragonKid. Welcome to the site. Nice to see another Nets fan in here. I'm sure Nenad bulked up a little from the time we drafted him. I mean, there's no point in holding out on him for a season when you don't develop him in every way needed.
