    Error Code: html5_video:4

what in the heck does this mean? I just want to watch sports like I’ve done for years

    Thanks in advance

The one I like seems to be working fine... Maybe your ISP is blocking it?

How do I get it unblocked?

Been watching games on these sites for years and right after I posted a link on here it started coming up with this message. I think some geek reported me. My wife can’t stream on her phone either. My father in law in north Portland can. The guy working the guard shack at work was streaming the Blazers the other night

Maybe try a VPN? I use Express VPN.

I've heard mullvad vpn is better and have been thinking of switching.

No guarantee it will work for you, but it's worth a shot

    *Edit*
A free solution that might work and that I probably should have suggested first is to change your DNS.

Unlocking the Internet: How Changing Your DNS Can Help You Access Blocked Websites

I would probably go with cloudflare instead of Google

    Is Duckduckgo a VPN?

if so I tried that and still no dice.

I think I might just get league pass for $50 for the rest of the year

Sorry that link I added didn't show up at first. I updated it so it should show now.

I think duckduckgo has a VPN (But I've never used it), but a paid VPN would be much better about unblocking blocked sites.

But if you're not wanting to pay for anything the first thing I would try is changing your DNS. That might solve your problem. And it's super simple to do.

    Hello, nerd here.

Looks like the `html5_video:4` video streaming error has been popping up a lot lately based on a google search. Doubt it's related to anything you've been watching.

In order to diagnose properly, this is where I would start:

    1. Are you using an ad blocker? (adblock plus, ublock origin, etc.). Chrome has officially discontinued support for ad blockers generally, so things might go haywire if you are using Chrome, for example.
    2. Have you tried another browser? (I would recommend a dedicating a different browser entirely for any sketchy website you might visit. Using your everyday browser (with all of its saved data like CC numbers, passwords, etc.) for any untrusted websites is asking for trouble.)
    3. Have you tried updating your device? I saw that this error seems to be affecting Mac/iPhone users and there's some chatter that it might be related to that. What kind of device are you having the trouble on?
    4. You said your wife can't stream either. What internet are you connected to that this happens on? Does it change if you are connected to your home wifi vs phone network vs coffee shop internet?

Did you put it on a separate wifi network? Have heard these things have backdoors to try and get everything else on your home network hacked.

Not using any ad blocker. Would that be the possible problem?

I use Safari, but I’ve tried Chrome and even downloaded DuckDuckGo to no avail.

I installed the latest update which IOS 18.3 for my iPhone 15.

Comcast is our internet provider and we haven’t tried any other network. Getting off WiFi and just using data makes no difference. I’ll try Starbucks wifi or something in a little bit.

Thanks for your help troubleshooting this problem.

Hmm. Yeah, this sounds like an iOS issue. I also use Comcast and it's working with no VPN or ad blocker. On windows, Android, and Android TV.

I too use an iPhone 15 for streams sometimes. I have found those eastern streams don’t work as well now and seems to take too much work to get them going. I don’t recommend using meth cus drugs are bad, but you can catch a stream if you know the risks and self prescribed it. Also some drugs to require trial and error.

    Gonna hijack this thread.

Is anyone using a DVR with the antenna? I hate that I can’t pause or record the games. I started out with a shorter range antenna and it sucked so I upgraded to one with 1200 mile range it works much better. I’m just missing the ability to pause or record.

    Hmmm

Even though I’m updated to the latest version?
