For starters, the Nets should first get a power forward who can rebound, block shots and post up (KG?). The Nets must hold their own in the paint. Kristic is slowly becoming a factor but still needs to muscle up inside, he must step up his "D", he only averaged 0.8 BPG. Carter must contain himself, he can't continue to throw up shots whenever he feels (which is often). Carter is a great 1-on-1 player, he can get shots on his own, but if he wants a ring, he has to learn to let the game come to him and not to force things too much. Carter is a factor but it wouldn't be bad idea to shop him around to be able to get a 4. Jefferson will continue to be better, specially if he can be consistent with his outside game to open up the inside so he can get in the lane. With him and Vince, the Nets can run with any team. And the glue that holds the team... Nets Captain, Jason Kidd. A healthy Kidd definitely spells trouble for all. Even coming off surgery, he was still able to lead the team to 2nd rd. playoff appearance while posting 13ppg., 7 rpg., 8 apg., and 2 spg. averages (not to mention leading the league in triple doubles), what more with him 100%. Yes he's 33, but nobody can argue that he is still one of the top PG's in the NBA. For those who say he has nothing left... then I guess being in the ALL-DEFENSIVE FIRST TEAM doesn't mean JACK! Good try, but you haven't said anything that hasn't already been said.
