They also should benefit next season from center Nenad Krstic's return from knee surgery. Still, there is something about this team that screams out for a need for change.</div>

Kidd, I have no idea what it is about that avatar, but it has me always looking at it before I post. [IMG]

Anyway, I disagree with some points on that article. The Heat being the 6th seed? They don't have Posey, they lost Payton(replaced with Smush, good job Riley [IMG]) and Kapono, and Wade is going to be out the beginning. What are they going to count on? They say a "healthy" Shaq, but what's that? That's a new word to me.

I'd take the Wizards, Magic, or Nets over them honestly.

Speaking of the Magic, I don't know why people overrate veterans on young teams. Certain ones are notable(Fisher on Utah for example), but Hill from my understanding was a loner. Honestly, at least give the Magic an 8th seeding, especially when we got that with a terrible coach in Brian Hill.

I don't think the Nets fill fall that far down in the playoffs, but it's possible. As I said, I won't be surprised if they get seeds 3-8 in the playoffs.

I disagree with the Cavs being number 1. What have they gotten better with, nothing. No big moves, just the same old team with no PG. With the Bets healthy, the Raptors and Bulls only getting better. The Pistons getting a bit younger, its weird. I think the Nets will be 4-8, and they will be a contender.

The Nets are going to be higher than the Magic, Wizards, Heat, and possibly even the Raptors. This article isn't written too well either. He is just listing out cons as a team. I think this year is the biggest chance we have yet. He still didn't say anything about our signing of Jamaal Magloire.

With Jefferson and Kristic out, it hurt the Nets, but they will improve. With getting guys who can help you win, it is good. The Nets will be 4-7, making a run at the Atlantic Divison title.
