    Nets get a royal beating

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Byron Scott didn't have to say much to his team at halftime last night. The score said it all.
The Nets trailed the Sacramento Kings by 32, had missed 32 of their first 45 shots and had played matador-type defense.

"I've never seen anything like that," Richard Jefferson said.

In their one and only visit to Sacramento, the Nets needed to put together one of their finer 24 minutes of the season just to make it a respectable 105-92 loss at a sold-out Arco Arena.</div>

This game showed the Nets' weakness: outside shooting (which is often needed for the half-court set which is another weakness). They watched tapes of the Kings' previous games and they saw how defenders give outside shooters space to shoot. It's a good call against the Nets. Only Kittles and Lucious can shoot from the outside IMO. I'd love to see Byron run shooting drills for the whole team.

However, they showed a lot of heart in the second half. Most teams will just rest their starters in the bench while they wait for the final buzzer to sound. They were professional enough to give the Kings some sort of a fight in the second half.
