Well, this is just evidence that the Nets are very confident in thier abilities to draft a desent big man in addition to picking up a very good free agent. If push comes to shove however, the Nets may end up signing Robinson if no one else does so.
i just knew they will drop robinson! 5 Million for an 38 yr old veteran, not a smart choice. they know they can get a decent Big Man in the draft.
Seeing how the draft went, this move was probably in preparation for signing someone like Donyell Marshall, SAR, or Swift.
