<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Career journeyman center/forward Mikki Moore is making himself at home with the New Jersey Nets, his seventh team in nine seasons in the NBA.

Moore, who also played in the CBA, Greece and the NBA Development League, is a candidate for the league's most improved player award with averages of 9.4 points and 5.1 rebounds and 60% shooting from the field. All are career highs.

"If I get that, that would be great," he says. "But I just want to prove to people who Mikki Moore is."

Moore, who was not drafted after playing four seasons at the University of Nebraska, is in his second stint with the Nets.

They obtained the 7-footer in an offseason trade with Seattle for a second-round draft pick to play spot minutes behind Jason Collins and Nenad Krstic, their starting post players, and Clifford Robinson, their first big man off the bench.</div>

He has been great throughout the season, but the last few games we haven't seen much from him. It might be just me, but he hasn't impacted that game as much as before.

Oh well, but I still expect Thorn to re-sign him.
