The Nets might use David Lee as their Plan B if LeBron James decides to sign with another team. Lee's agent, Mark Bartelstein, says New Jersey has talked to him several times since free agency began on Thursday.

A league official close to the Nets also claims that the team could go after Carlos Boozer if James lands somewhere else.

Nets president and general manager Rod Thorn said in a text message on Tuesday that there was nothing to report on the free agency front.

Mark Bartelstein expects the Nets to go after Lee and Boozer if James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh don't agree to terms with New Jersey.

"We've talked a bunch," Bartelstein said. "There is not a day that goes by that we don't talk. They are kind of waiting now on Wade and LeBron and once they decide, we'll go from there."

Lee deserves a better franchise to go to. But what would that mean for Favors? Lee is a 35 MPG type of player.
