<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Buried in an AP report on the Blazers' midseason outlook is this intriguing line: "While the players get a break, the rumor mill is grinding away. The Knicks were purportedly interested in (Theo) Ratliff, while Travis Outlaw may or may not wind up in New Jersey." Outlaw, a 21-year-old forward drafted right out of high school, is one of an abundance of big men on the Blazers roster. The 6'-9" Mississippi native is averaging 5.0 points and 2.4 rebounds and earns about $1 million this year.</div>

Travis, to me, is just a very unpolished version of Hakim Warrick, and Hakim is unpolished himself. He has amazing athleticism, but he makes a lot boneheaded plays. In 15 minutes he's averaging almost 2 fouls. That's incredible.

He'd be exciting on the break but we need someone who is good now.
