New Jersey Nets president Rod Thorn said his team still has to add another combo-guard type, but their primary free-agent target ? Jannero Pargo, late of the New Orleans Hornets ? figures to be out of their price range. The Nets are likely to fill this vacancy with a player who falls through the cracks next month. They should pickup Smush Parker. He is combo guard, from NY, and would be a lot cheaper than Pargo.

Nets should pursue Matt Barnes. He's a solid defender who is known for his hustle and can shoot the ball. He will be great playing behind Vince Carter in New Jersey. Also, they should look at Eddie Jones, Sasha Pavlovic, Mickael Pietrus, and Charlie Bell. There are alot of options for New Jersey right now.
