QUOTE

With training camp now less than 10 days away, Sean Deveney of Sporting News and Marc Stein of ESPN take a shot at ranking the Eastern Conference’s off-season. No surprise: both say Boston wins hands down. The Nets, without a major deal or a sure-fire addition, rank ninth on Deveney’s list, fifth on Stein’s. Both think the Vince Carter extension and Mikki Moore/Jamaal Magloire switchout were pluses.

Stein Deveney

If Krstic sucks then Sean Williams will play, If Sean Williams won't play, Krstic and Boone would be very good.
So in every case, you are still in the winning mode.
What didn't you notice about that? You can think the team is going to be as good as you say they will because Nenad is coming back, but just because you think it, that doesn't make it true. We have no reason to believe Nenad will be effective the first few months of the season. Recovering from a torn ACL is no joke. That's not looking on the dark side. It's being realistic. After many off-seasons getting excitied and expeting so much from this team, it's all become tiring. It's time to be realistic about our team's limits. And our limit is, IMO, another 2nd round exit.
And I have no idea what your last two sentences are trying to convey.
