According to the infamous Woj, the lastest breaking rumor is New Jersey acquiring DERON WILLIAMS for Devin Harris and Derrick Favors!!! Rumored to be a 3-team deal.

Interesting. That would screw us though.

Insane deal for the Nets. The Jazz added yet another PF and downgraded at PG. Two first round picks is nice.

As a Blazer fan, that would be a dream come true. Both Denver and Utah get considerably worse in the same week? Cho may as well kick back and let every team in the West blow itself up.

If that happened, that's quite a score for New Jersey. Deron > Carmelo.

It makes Utah weaker, which is good for the Blazers.

There is a trend developing of big name west all stars heading east.

The best part of this is that Woj and Spears never even mentioned a whiff of this trade being in the works, and now Woj is going to claim he "broke" the news.

Somebody on the Nets payroll was feeding them the Miller/Harris stuff as a smokescreen, IMO. Now that they got the deal they wanted all along, they give poor Woj the "exclusive" on it.

Wow, I didn't think Utah would actually deal Deron Williams. Now I'm sad Portland wasn't able to put something together. This is a player I'd have added Oden into a package for.

Not at all. I thought Andre for Harris was our best potential trade option. Now it's off the table.

I have to think for PR reasons, there is no way they could have dealt Deron to us, any more than we could have dealt Clyde to the L*kers (they made a better offer for his services than did Houston). Utah's fans (quite rightly) HATE us.

This deal makes me quite happy.

Utah gets significantly worse for the time being. We have yet to see what those picks are, and Favors is coming into a frontcourt already crowded with Millsap and Jefferson. Harris is a huge downgrade from Deron Williams.

    I want Williams!!!

Miller, Pryz, Batum and ___ for Williams? But as others said, no way Utah trades him to us.

They may not have called this trade early, but they were reporting all day yesterday that Nets were determined to move Harris before the trade deadline . . . looks like that was true.

Basically some players rumored to be on the move are indeed on the move. I think it is cool that general public these daysget to know the buzz about which players are being shopped with constant updates.

Now, if OKC will only trade Durant to the Pacers for Roy Hibbert...

I understand that, but it doesn't help us beat OKC, LA, or San Antonio. I guess it's fine if our goal is to finish 4th in the Western Conference.
