I'll be doing matchups between former and current Nets and Nets in Net history. You'll basically decide who was better for the Nets no matter the length of there career. First matchup:

    Neno krstic

    vs.

    Big Todd Mac

I'll go with Krstic but not by much. Todd was the better post player and the better rebounder while Krstic was the better shooter and a decent post option himself. Both wer epoor defender sbut TOdd was the better shotblocker but I'll still go by Krstic.

Kristic for sure. He has a better game, and can help his team more. He can still rebound well, while playing smart basketball.

There was a really good thread a while back comparing Big Todd to last year's Mikki that gave me an opportunity to be more educated on what Todd brought to the table. However I'll give my vote to Krstic. He's not inept at rebounding, and I think we've seen how important a jumpshooting big man is in this Nets offense that past couple of years.

Sadly enough Krstic is the best center that Kidd has ever played with. Todd was great on that 01-02 team though. By far his biggest assets were his hands. He would catch everything that was thrown to him. It's hard to believe that was six years ago.

On their own merits, Krstic. But he's only shown glimpses of playing as well with Kidd as Todd did.
