The Nets added yet another able-bodied, defensive-minded practice player today, signing Stephen Graham to a partially-guaranteed, one-year deal that includes a team option for a second season. Graham will be listed somewhere behind Anthony Morrow, Terrence Williams, Travis Outlaw and Damion James on the depth chart for wings, but the broad-shouldered, 6-foot-6 vet has a way of surprising people: Last season in Charlotte, Larry Brown grew so enamored of his toughness and competitiveness that Graham kept top draft pick Gerald Henderson chained to the bench for most of the season.
