I think the Nets will probably get there, but they won't go very far and Vince will become a little whiner again. PS. VC fans, don't even try to convince me on this one. You should know about his little dramatic scenes by now.

They are not looking at beating Phoenix or San Antonio or The Heat or whoever, for now the Nets are focusing on getting to the playoffs, you guys are already laughing at them. We never know what can happen in the Playoffs, someone can get injured any game (Duncan anyone...) First the Nets aim for the playoffs, not a championship, you guys sound like you want them to quit even before anything started. Just my two cents.
exactly Wizk4nyc15 ^,First of course the Nets will have to get into the playoffs. But its funny how everyone is writting them off like they wont put up a fight once they get there. The Nets have one thing that most of the teams in the East with the exception of Detriot dont have and that is guys with tons of playoff experience. From the Stars on down the line to a guy sitting at the end of the bench like J-bo(Jabari Smith) have consiredable playoff expereince. Jason Kidd, Jason Collins, Jacque Vaughn, Cliff Robinson, Travis Best, Rodney Bubord have all gone as deep as the NBA finals before. And have played legitimate roles on the teams in which they went to the finals with. And you factor in J-bo, Mercer, Carter, etc all have playoff experence under their belts. The only guy on the team who doesnt is Nenad Krstic. But overall this is an expereinced veteran scrappy team, who will put a scare or two in a high seeded inexpereinced team and maybe pull off an upset or two. Do I think they can be the Heat, realistically no, the Nets frontline just isnt equiped to deal with a guy like Shaq. But I bet they can put an unexpwcted scare into them. And just by doing that they maybe able to alter the path of the rest of the playoffs.
nets can climb to the 6th spot, thats how good they playing right now, and when they get jefferson back in playoffs they might even be in eastern conference finals matchup
The nets IMO will make the playoffs, but seriously, how realistic are you net's fans. Don't paint perfect pictures about Carter either, sure maybe this season...but if the nets get swept in the playoffs...here comes old Wince.
