<div align="center">vs</div> <font color=""Navy"">New Jersey Nets(25-29) </font> vs <font color=""turquoise"">New Orleans/OKC Hornets</font>(25-29) Time: Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 7:30 EST TV: YES Away/Home Tonight, the Nets face the Hornets in what should be an interesting clash between two underperforming teams. The Nets, who have lost 6 of their last 9 games, but have won 6 of their last 8 at home and 6 in a row against the Hornets, will probably have Jason Kidd back in the lineup, in what may be his last Nets game if the trade rumors we are hearing lately have some truth in them. Kidd will face young, up-and-coming wonderkid Chris Paul of the Hornets, who is already considered one of the top true point guards in the league in his sophmore season. Meanwhile, Vince Carter may also be playing his last Nets game, but it's likely that he will stay a Net, at least until the summer. Meanwhile, the Hornets have won 9 of their last 12, but lost their last game before the ASW to Charlotte. The Hornets have struggled on the road this season, winning just 8 of 26 road games and have lost 13 of their last 16 on the road. New Orleans are just a game out of the playoffs, and will try to continue their run to .500 tonight. Starting Lineups: New Jersey Nets: PG:Jason Kidd SG:Vince Carter SF:Antoine Wright PF:Jason Collins C:Mikki Moore New Orleans/OKC Hornets: PG:Chris Paul SGevin Brown SFesmond Mason PFavid West C:Tyson Chandler Keys to the Game: -Box out. West and Chandler are both excellent rebounders, so the Nets will have to focus on rebounding tonight in order to stop a bunch of 2nd chance points. -Open the game well, and continue playing like that. The Nets need to learn how to play well for 48 minutes and close out games, and tonight, after a break and some rest, is the perfect time to start a trend. Prediction: Nets +11
Vince is playing great with 14 points, 6-6 FT. Kidd has 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 points on 1-8 shooting, 0-4 for threes. Could this be a sign that he wants to leave NJ?

<div class="quote_poster">Carter Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Not giving it his all.</div> Because he's shooting bad? It's not like he's missing on purpose, and if it wasn't for the rumors, we wouldn't even think that he's not trying. Not to mention we are talking about Kidd. When hasn't he given his all? He plays hard every night, despite what ever might be going on. 9 rebounds and 10 asts. Just one of those bad shooting nights.

He has attempted 5 threes already and he isn't the type of player to do that. He takes 2-3 a game. He has 5 already and it's not even the 4th quarter yet. But then again, you never know. Wow, Vince has 9 free throw attempts. And 9 three attempts.

He would rather make them, and look better, than look worse. Of course the whole thing is absurd.
