As i have just read about the football leagues chairmen having talks over the new proposed system to get rid of draws i was just wondering what laws you would introduce into the football league to make it better or more exciting. One idea i have frequently discussed with my mates is why not introduce a new law into the premiership that if a team say scores 2/3 more goals than the opposition then they should receive a bonus point. I think this would encourage attacking, which is what we all want to see, but also it would make the league less predictable in a way that we could not give a very high prediction of the league winners before it is up because u can often guess a result to be win, loss or draw but to guess the exact score it is much less likely. What do you guys think about this or any other ideas!!!
I agree with frank. This is a league where even the worst club receives about £30m "prize" money. If it ain't broken don't fix it!!! And why do away with draws. The whole point of play-offs is to make the whole league tight and more competitive. How would that happen if you get a winner in every game. The points gap would be far too wide.
One rule that would be good would be a worldwide wage cap on players. The bounus point would be a brilliant idea for four goals winning margin would be good.
